Robotic welding
Pile cages
Welded reinforcement cages for bored piles and deep foundations. Robotic welding ensures precise geometry and consistent weld quality.

We produce pile cages on a robotic welding machine. Longitudinal bars and spiral reinforcement are welded automatically, so every cage has the same geometry and strength.
Thanks to our close ties with EKIA, a special foundation contractor, we understand bored pile requirements well – cage stiffness during handling, concrete cover and coordination with drilling.
Applications
- Bored piles under buildings
- Secant and contiguous pile walls
- Bridge and infrastructure foundations
- Industrial and energy projects
- Retaining structures and slope stabilisation
Benefits of welded cages
Robotic welding
Consistent weld quality without human error.
Precise geometry
Diameter and spiral pitch exactly to design.
Stiff for handling
Welded cages do not deform during lifting.
Delivery to site
Cages delivered in drilling sequence.

Ready to lower into the bore
Cages come with everything needed for smooth installation – stiffening rings, spacers and lifting points.
- Stiffening rings
- Spacers for correct concrete cover
- Preparation for splicing longer piles
FAQ
Pile cages
What do you need to produce pile cages?
A cage drawing or pile drawing with bar schedule, the number of pieces and the required delivery schedule.
Why a welded cage instead of a tied one?
A welded cage is much stiffer, does not deform when lifted into the bore, and robotic welding ensures consistent quality and exact dimensions.
Can you deliver cages in drilling sequence?
Yes, we plan deliveries according to the drilling schedule so cages arrive exactly when needed.
